As we see the holidays quickly approaching in this very troubling time in our country due to the rise in Covid-19 cases that are happening all over once again, we have decided that we will be doing Thanksgiving Dinner a little bit differently this year!
We ask that no outside food be brought in. In lieu of casseroles and desserts, we are asking for monetary donations so that we may provide for the everyone. We will still be accepting turkey and ham donations prior to Thanksgiving day for us to cook. But instead of having the customary buffet style setup, our volunteers will be serving from the kitchen window this year.
Eat in is still going to be available for everyone that wants to gather together, but we will also be offering carry-out options. You may simply come in the front or back doors and grab a meal to go! We do ask that free will donations be given for all meals whether they be eat in or carry-out.
We will still have our customary blessing before the meal is served right around the noon hour. The Club will remain open as long as we have patrons to serve. We hope that you will still bring your family and friends and come see us on Thanksgiving Day! But, in case we don’t see you, have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
